The Witcher Season two begins with the victory of the northern kingdoms in the battle of Sodden. Geralt (Henry Cavill) decides to take his Child Surprise, Princess Ciri (Freya Allan) of Cintra, to Kaer Morhen, a fortress where witchers train and rest, in a bid to keep her safe. Cinesite’s complex VFX work is sprawled across all of Season two starting with the opening shots of the first episode at the Kikimora battle through to the Basilisks in the season finale. On this show, I undertook the role of the 2D Production Coordinator. You can explore Cinesite’s work on The Witcher Season two in more depth via the Case Study found on the Cinesite Website.
